I was thinking over the past few days that Mormonism has failed as a religion.
They claim that they are better and true becuase of the many sacrifices that they request from their members (per Uchtdorf). The problem is that the incredible, unbelivable blessing, of which there should not even be room enough to receive them are now basically invisible and must be imagined(per Bednar).
Despite a 100+ years of promises Mormons are:
Not happier
Not more likely to avoid divorce
Not wealthier
Not smarter
Not fulfilled
Willing to ignore facts
More hypocritical
More judgemental
More selfish
Prouder
Less forgiving
Easily deceived
More racist
More willing to lie
More willing to break up families
More willing to give up or to compromise core values
So the bottom line is that mormonism endlessly asks and promises, but at the end it fails to deliver. It is an utter failure as a religion.
