In 1856 President Heber C. Kimball revealed it.
Line upon line.
And precept upon precept:

>the vision that Joseph and others had, when
>they went into a cave in the hill Cumorah,
>and saw more records than ten men could carry
>There were books piled up on tables, book
>upon book. Those records this people will yet
>have, if they accept of the Book of Mormon and
>observe its precepts, and keep the commandments.

Oh! You foolish, foolish apostates!
See what a terrible thing you have done?

If only you would have accepted the Book of Mormon
and observed its precepts, and kept the Church's
commandments --- today we would have all of those
sacred, sealed records hidden away in Cumorah.

It's all your fault.

Counsellor in the First Presidency of the One True Church,
of course. All three members of that quorum were generally
referred to as "president."

Here's a link to more of Kimball's 1856 counsel to the Saints:

Yes. Yes. Yes, I admit it. You have found me out. It was entirely my fault there is no temple in Harrison, NY. Yes, while all the wards prayed for it, I prayed against it. Mea culpa. Maxima mea culpa.

I also admit to causing the huge breakdown of the families in the stake. It was all because I kept quiet and didn't speak out.

It was my fault that I didn't help Hinckley to understand that his doubts should lead him away from moism,

And this is only the beginning of my confessions.

Good on us! The last thing this world needs is more dogma for people to blindly follow.
