Jesus described himself as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy. How can you conclude that Jesus had any message different than that recorded in the Gospels? Jesus became famous in His day because of his actions. His message was ignored by all but a few. How can you conclude that Jesus was an example of relevant communication? The message is that the "who" was God made flesh.
