This is not a good comparison. The tobacco and alchohol drug lords are already selling a LEGAL product. Have they done some shady things? No doubt. But they are already a part of our LEGAL culture. We can't undo what has already been done. If we legalize drugs, what makes you that the new drug lords will be any better than the tobacco and alchohol lords?
