Locally (Provo, Utah) reaction is split between "Wow, fantastic!" to "It wasn't as funny as Liar, Liar." If you're already tuned in to questioning the worldview, it's a great metaphor. If one's reality is complete and unchanging, it's only a weird concept to be taken at face value. The questioners (ie, the choir being preached to) go home bedazzled that someone has created a vision for them. The unquestioning (ie, the people asleep in the back row) go home saying, "I don't think I got it."
