To me, a multiplicity of gods is complicated & logically confusing. But perhaps you're right, I'm just narrow-minded.

: ...really Tammy, you've been here long enough that I'm surprised you're using the "atheists don't want to be ethical" nonsense.

I didn't say atheists don't want to be ethical. Just that y'all don't like the idea of a Rule Maker/Enforcer. I also wonder how an atheist can define ethical behavior.

: What is the point of "answering" questions with invented ideas? If we don't know an answer, isn't it better to just admit that we don't know rather than to spout wishful thinking? Understanding that you don't know the truth usually has to occur before the truth is really found. If you let your wishful thinking supply you the answers, you not only get incorrect invented answers, but you won't even bother to look for the real answers anymore.

So why don't you turn your skeptical eye on macroevolution & tell me if we really KNOW that all life on planet earth really evolved from some little RNA microbe. Or perhaps this speculation is more theoretically pleasing than an admission that scientists don't know exactly how life began. Heaven forbid that some scientist believe that a supernatural force created the universe!
