The agility of the mind is in my mind a far more important conquest than the notion of a 'right' answer world. If for example, I am in a region well known for its sensory deprivation, such as the Artic wilderness, I am far better off if by chance, I havn't had the opportunity for an education, and am therefore lacking intellectual development, to possess as it were a playful imaginary summation of the universe in my mind, than some rigid calculation of a 'reward and punishment' notion of God.
What becomes 'right' in the eyes of God, when there is nothing but frozen snow laden landscape and heavy winds as a constant real world encounter?
Those who fair best in sensory deprived circumstance are those whose knowledge of men is such that they understand there are no right answers as such, only the malleable realtionship between man and his surroundings.
In such circustance where there is little sensory stimulation and one is in the company of others it is of interest to excerise a somewhat loose and playful sense about the meaning of life and our human purpose. If I were to suddenly find myself trapped in a sensory deprived region, by some mishap, I would discover, that what is important changes from circumstance to circumstance. That rolling with the times means changing how we see things from day to day and person to person. There is not a Total Way that can be lived continually. We constantly utilize various components of our own personal account of reality; and even in the most hardened souls, those among us who do not believe in things like luck and Gods, there are those moments, that catch us unaware, and we silently whisper a sentence or two to that invisible something, or rub that lucky rabbits foot when no one is looking:)
To enjoy ourselves in the company of one another no matter what the circumstance, is still illusive. No one's God, or no Scientific equation, will ever define the perfect human moment. We are all spectacularly spontaneous after all.
