I attended a High School that was 99 percent LDS. The remaining 1 percent was the bulk of both the Debate Team and the Science Club. Two of which were UU and most of the remaining were Greek Orthodox. Half were female. I loved to hang around them because they were far more interesting than the typical LDS sludge I was a part of.
I was particularily surprised by the father of one of the girls who insisted that his daughter suspend getting married until after medical school. This father also openly discussed birth control with her while I was in the room! I don't think my parents even used the word 'sex' in my presence until I had finished college.
