: It's willful disobedience only in your mind (and those that think like you). I'll ignore the extremes of murder and such, though it's fun to note that in some species, murder is "ok" or even helpful for survival (for our species it isn't though). So take the case of a man who lives with his girlfriend. You'd say he's sinning--being "willfully disobedient". I'd say (and he'd probably say too) that he's doing what his society allows, and not "sinning" in the least. Yet your god will burn him forever for it. I think the rat story fits rather well.
This is the first step in answering your post completely.
I can not judge the man who lives with his girlfriend. He may be sinning, if it is willful disobedience of something God has revealed to him, or he may not if he has not been given any such revelation. What is sin for one man may not be sin for another, and I can't judge any man's actions. You are only responsible for what has been revealed to you.
If you have never willfully disobeyed WHAT GOD HAS REVEALED TO YOU then you are perfect in God's eyes and you will go to heaven based upon your own merits. Jesus didn't need to die for you because you have no sin. I have never met such a person. Do you claim to be one?
