Well, I was hoping you'd have something to say about the main point of my post, rather than just a closing story. Am I to assume you understand my issue about your god being sadistic, unloving and unjust? But anyway, I'll comment on what you did respond to.

It's willful disobedience only in your mind (and those that think like you). I'll ignore the extremes of murder and such, though it's fun to note that in some species, murder is "ok" or even helpful for survival (for our species it isn't though). So take the case of a man who lives with his girlfriend. You'd say he's sinning--being "willfully disobedient". I'd say (and he'd probably say too) that he's doing what his society allows, and not "sinning" in the least. Yet your god will burn him forever for it. I think the rat story fits rather well.
