No. God visits His wrath only upon those who refuse to believe what has been plainly revealed to them.
I find nothing redeeming in that... rather I find it revolting. Your god is an intergalactic terrorist more vile and full of hatred for his own creation than anything this world can even conceive of (even Hitler couldn't torture people FOREVER).

God has chosen, for whatever reason, to work primarily through families. Perhaps God ordained your wife to be "Americanized" for the purpose of exposing her to the Gospel and drawing her to Him.
When those people grow up happy and accepting of the religion of their birth parents and society they are deemed worthy of eternal torture by your god... simply for honoring their family and traditions. Don't give me some bull story about justice and punishment for actions. Your god's 'love' and 'justice' is a mockery of even the most primitive human understanding of love and justice.
Can you name a human society that encourages wrong doings without punishment?

as if WE were the creators this sadistic, horrific, obscene system of "justice" that your god concocted. To suggest it's our ‘choice’ under this system your god invents is like shooting your girlfriend for refusing your proposal of marriage, and then claiming it's HER fault because she rejected you.
Again, who's in charge? God.
