I do not doubt that this has been discussed exhaustively. I've studied this for some time. I'm just responding to your statement. If I am consistent with that statement, I'd be skeptical of evolution, a particular kind of evolution. There's tons of evidence for change in species. I'll grant that. The particular evolution that one should be skeptical of is that held by science at large: life from non-life by mere chance and the slime-to-man assertion. One's bias will determine where one will place that skepticism.
Unless past discussions bear that out, I see no reason to read them.
