You may believe that. Fine. But you have to recognize that that is your opinion. Your opinion may or may not be correct, like mine. But you can't state opinions and claim to be teaching anyone anything.

So if you are teaching or if you want to learn the Bible, statements like "this happened" or "this didn't happen" are worthless. You have to read and understand it first. What is it really teaching? If you call it myth, fine. I believe Shakespeare's writings to all be fiction, but that doesn't lower my respect for them. I have learned a lot about humanity by reading Shakespeare. And the quality of the Bible as a whole certainly has more content, even non-spiritual content, than Shakespeare.
