: Just by chance happened on a very nice book entitled 'Cosmic Collisions' by Dana Desonie. This is a 120 page little gem. It discusses organic and cosmic evolution in the clearest terms. Written by someone who has a comprehensive grasp of the subject. This is the kind of book you'd want to give to your neighbor, your friend, your relatives and especially your kids. Short, Sweet, To The Point and very Timely.

: Another informative book on the subject of Comets/Asteroids is enitled 'Comet' by Carl Sagan and Ann Druyan. This book is far more complex, but loaded with information and character sketches about the men and women who search the stars for answers to some of the great mysteries of our earth; and how those mysteries unfolded in their minds. Loaded with illustrations and artwork, this book reads like a song.

I haven't yet 'Cosmic Collisions,' but I thoroughly enjoyed 'Comet' by Carl Sagan.
