: Interesting (but overly long) book on the "The Ayn Rand Cult" by Jeff Walker (Open Court, 1999). Walker (with lots of research and quotes) makes Rand and her followers out to be a miserable lot.
Michael Shermer also discussed the Ayn Rand cult in his book "Why People Beieve Wierd Things." I found his treatment of the subject to be very interesting and insightful.
