: : I've read Phillip Johnson. He uses the same methodology that forgoers of honest intellectual inquiry relish in.

: Obviously, your definition of intellectually dishonest is anyone who disagrees with you and modern orthodoxy.

Me, orthodox? You've got to be kidding. It sounds like you haven't read much of what I've written (or much of what Johnson has written). My definition of dishonesty has nothing to do with whether someone agrees with me which you would know had you read this page that I previously linked to.

: : Rather than link to people who distort and ignore the evidence why don't you offer some evidence (in complete context) of your own?

: We use the same method; we only differ in our sources.

Faith isn't my method. Nor is apologetics. Our sources are certainly different though. I like facts, evidence, and observations. You seem to like supernatural beings who no one can seem to pin down or agree upon exactly what it is.

: : For instance, since you don't believe in 'scientific materialism' please explain why you bothered to turn on your computer before posting your messages. Wouldn't it have been easier to use a route that didn't rely on scientific materialism?

: Your are obviously confusing technology, which is the work of mens hands, and
: a philosphy, which is a belief system men may choose or not choose to adopt.
: Theists are not a priori Luddites. I would have thought your mind could
: open wide enough to grasp this notion.

The notion that technology is based on scientific materialism?

How about if I rephrase the question?

What can't scientific materialism explain? What can your theology explain (w/o stating that God need not be caused but everything else must be caused by God)? For instance can your theology explain why species go extinct? Can it explain why your Bible claims one (or more in earlier portions of the Bible) unchanging god but actually writes about a god who changes his tune every few hundred years? Can it explain why people who take certain drugs or get hit on the head hard enough have their 'souls' changed?
