at least using your own definition.

I tend not to think of god as some old geezer who wears sheets and has a beard, though. god to me is merely nature. Nature created me, created the world, the universe, the multiverse...I was born from nature and at the end of my span I will go back to nature, helping her (or him) create other things with the chemicals in my corpse...Perhaps my grandchildren will plant a fruit tree on my grave. This is all the "eternal life" I need.

=)

: I honestly believe that there will never be any proof for or against God. It's like trying to prove the existance of some alternate universe that is completely undetectable by anyone in our universe. We can speculate all we wan't about that universe, but we'll never be able to prove that it does or doesn't exist with certainty, however vague that certainty may be.

: Because there has never been a reason to believe in this universe (aside from the fact that someone suggested the idea that it might exist), and because there is no proof (nor will ever be) for this universe, it is best to not believe in it. Or to at least not concern yourself with it.

: Although I am an Atheist, I do agree with the Taoist idea that God cannot be defined in anyway. Even saying that God is "good" (thus giving him moral allignment) is redicules. If God is beyond time, then what's to prevent him from being beyond morality.

: What this boils down to is that *if* there is a God, we don't know anything about him. And we probably never will. So you'd be best to live your life as if God doesn't exist, otherwise you'll be living a delusion.
