Hi Stephane

The most "Inspirational" books I have read would have to include:

DOS For Dummies . . . by Dan Gookin . . . changed my life

Intermediate Algebra . . . by Elaine Hubbard and Ronald D. Robinson . . . Lighted the fire for reason.

Psychology . . . by Stephen F. Davis and Joseph J. Palladino . . . It truly is a new world when you think.

There are many more but for brevity's sake I think they had the most bang for the buck.

: Greetings all,

: First, I would like to say that I am sorry for the mistakes I will make
: in this message since my first language is french.

: I had the idea to build a reading list (a website) that would contain
: the books that had the most positive impact on their readers. The
: website is called "The MOST INSPIRATIONAL books ever written". I do not
: decide which books should be on the list. The list is built by the
: people who visit the website and vote online. I know that this list
: will be usefull to many people looking for good inspirational books and
: I am also convinced that the more people will vote, the more
: representative the list will become and the more usefull the list will
: be.

: If you think, as I do, that this project could help some people in their
: search for inspirational books, and that you would like to participate,
: you can come to the website and vote for the book(s) that had the most
: important effect on your life.

: To vote online:
: (sorry for the long address).

: The concept is not perfect. I know that some of you will find the list
: biased by many factors and you will be right (bestsellers will receive
: more votes, people are not always voting for books they read completely,
: people are influenced by the list when they vote, etc).
: But, you can help unbias the list because of your reading experience and
: by voting as honnestly as possible. Try not to be influenced by
: the list before you vote.

: Thank you really much for your help.

: Stephane Boucher
