I am beginning to understand that it is not the unity of consciousness that is the illusion but rather our experience of consciousness as dual or tri-partite that is illusionary. We are essentially the object of our consciousness, the subject experiencing consciousness and the act of consciousness itself: In other words, we exist as a summary or composite of these three expressions; and it is when we transcend our perception that they are somehow separate and distinct that we get a glimpse of what we might understand as pure potentiality.
