: : Try visiting some noted museums of natural history. If what you want is observable evolution, its been done in the lab. Since when have the origins of life (aka "big bang"?) been considered as an example of spontaneous generation? Besides, I thought that the subject was evolution. I believe what you are now discussing is abiogenesis, which is a different subject. Did your molecular biologist ever do research into evolution? Please explain to me the relation of his ideas concerning steady state theory to those of evolution. Did you link to www.talkorigins.org? They have several articles, FAQ, links, references, etc., that you can use to try and understand what evolution REALLY is (as opposed to what the creation "scientists" preach). Also, please study up on abiogenesis so you can realize that it is a seperate topic.
: : I fail to comprehend your use of the term "natural theology", since theology is the study of the nature of God and religious truth. Who or what is the God you claim I follow? What supernatural being is involved in the scientific study of evolution. The Creationists have tried this trick in the courts before, of attempting to paint evolution as a religion, in a failed effort to claim that the teaching of evolution in public schools was a sponsering of religion. Fortunately for us, cooler heads prevailed and the Creationists lost.
: : Since you are so concerned with evidence, how about if you list some of the evidence that may suggest a viable alternative to evolution. Is there scientific evidence in support of special creation? There must not be because if they had any, I would think they would show the world.
: I read your response and will answer each of your questions (using Word 97) Sunday evening. And yes I did find that site useful. I even looked for some answers on the evolutionary links it listed. I'm going to be looking at this site and http:\\www.2think.org/evolution/shtml (copying from memory) so give me till Sunday late. I will redefine my questions then and present to you my findings. My title will be MY FINDINGS. Until then
(Xavier) I have examined several sites claiming to explain scientific support of special creation. I have found all to be either lacking in any scientific data, misunderstanding available science, or just misquoting evolutionary scientist. I have also discovered that several of the leading creationists maintain they have degrees that when researched, come from unaccreditted and sometimes bogus institutions. Those with legitimate degrees, tend to have scientific credentials outside of the realm of biology, anthropology, etc. Can you assist me and lead me to a site of an organization that has properly used the scientific method, has accomplished credible and substantiated research, and has scientific data in support of special creation? In all my years I have found none. All the scientific research and data that I have come across firmly and unequivically refutes any notion of Young Earth Creationism. Perhaps you have information that I have not seen yet?
