: I recently read my first book by Richard Feynman (and plan to read many more).
I haven't seen the movie, but I'm curious about which book you read. I've read "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!", an autobiographical collection of his essays. It was excellent! I occasionally teach accounting courses at night at a local college, and I always introduce my course with his experience in Brazil. Basically, he concluded that no learning of science was occurring in the country - only memorization. It is a great anecdote that anyone involved in teaching should read.
I also recommend "The Making of the Atomic Bomb" by Richard Rhodes (I think - don't have it in front of me here at work). Feynman appears in that work, but more than that it is a great science/history read.
