Thinking today of *existing.* That existing is but the continuity of an organism in time and space; living is sparkling, creative freedom. While one need only survive to exist, one must create to live. The free, creating individual has something to live for. I've discovered that unless the pontentialities of freedom are disciplined and channeled, they can be as much a cause of grief as they can be a source of contentment. One may view the matter of cosmic support from the heart's point of view, in which case religion might emerge; or he may view it from the perspective of the inquiring mind, and philosophy emerges. Still, both disciplines testify to the pontentialities of freedom.
