Since much of the Bible is obviously not true in any literal sense looking for truth becomes very subjective. You, Helen, surely do not believe that Adam and Eve were the origin of the human race?
The ugly truth is we are all descended from bacteria.
Why not accept the Bible as a philosphy for living, something like the Constitution,
and ignore the invented supernatural bits.
