When people say they don't believe in evolution, perhaps they are saying they don't believe that all creation was the result of chance and necessity. They don't believe that all life is the result of random, purposeless physical forces.

And while we're at it, does the example of the finch beaks convincingly demonstrate a process which produces new body plans or complex organs? Or does it simply explain how existing species survive variations in their environment?
