The universe is eternally changing and transforming itself. If a planet disapear we have to move to another stellar system. Science has not proven, yet, that the universe will die. But when someone is so much "ONE" with the universe, it is not important.
What you have to understand is that eternity is already here and now. To continue in a "cloned" body is just a little gift we will give to ourselves if we like this "one and only, material world."
The rest, for me, is "wishfull thinking".
