What is philosophy?

This site seems to be another, "see it as I do or be deleted". The header reads "A Place to Discuss Books, Ethics, Science, and Philosophy"

rpcman needs to define at least Ethics, and Philosophy. Science is not so hard to firgure out unless you work for NASA, then anything goes. Books, well, there seems to be an unlimited number of books out there covering any subject. But it seems the webmaster keeps "off topic" stuff deleted.

Science, ethics, and philosophy just about covers anything you want to discuss, but many on here are told to "stay on topic or be deleted".

So, rpcman in order for me to stay on topic would you please define ethics, philosophy, science (unless you're a NASA man), and what books I can talk about?
