Perhaps", God is science not yet understood.
: It's very hard to grasp a 4th or 5th dimensional
: being in a three dimensional world. What about
: a 100th dimension?

Are you familiar with Superstring Theory? I'm no scientist, but I found the book Hyperspace, by Michio Kaku most enlightening. He presents the case for a 10 dimension cosmos with our world taking up 4 (time being the fourth dimension in the space-time continuum) leaving 6 dimensions for divine or demonic habitation, or whatever one wishes to hide there. The problem with locating heaven, hell or Vallhalla in the 5-10th dimension is that it must be very small (subatomic). The theory of all matter being a simple variation of vibration as in superstring theory sounds awful Witchy to me. It's also not very scientific, but a cosmos divided into two separate universes of 4 and 6 dimensions has some interesting geometric associations (as in Sacred, not Euclidian geometry). Our four dimensional universe would correspond to the four sided tetrahedron while the remaining 6 dimensional universe could be represented by the six sided cube. Both are Platonic solids, and the cube was traditionally assiociated with royal dominion over the earth. The Pharoahs and Divinities of Egypt are traditionally depicted as being seated on thrones that are cubic in shape. Of course, it has not been lost on the Christians that the cross is an unfolded cube (see Salvadore Dali's painting Christus Hypercubus). Where the three remaining Platonic solids belong in the cosmos is unknown to me. I am somewhat fascinated with the dodecahedron. If you remember the Cosmos series, you may recall the episode where Dr. Sagan addressed the dodecahedron and used it as a symbol on some of his space craft. If you saw the movie Contact, that employed Dr. Sagan as an advisor, you may recall that the plans were transmitted in the form of a dodecahedron and the capsule the Jodi Foster was sealed into was also a dodecahedron. The book Hyperspace explains that the space craft postulated in the movie Contact (actually something of a time machine also as in order to traverse great expanses of space without violating the light speed limit we will have to warp or fold the space-time continuum) was actually designed in theory by the physicists Kip Thorne and Michael Morris from the California Institute of Technology and Ulvi Yurtsever at the University of Michigan. Well, I'm starting to ramble, just read the book, and here's a link on superstring theory.

Blessings,
Otremer
