It's most likely that three dimensional universes are the only ones that can support intelligent life (hence ours is 3D!). However, if the phyisicists are right that there are higher order dimensions at the subatomic level (and our 3D world is a macroscopic 'residue' of those higher order dimensions), then your god would have to be tiny!
