: : Assuming a God does exist, in what way is God ethical?

: If there is no judgment after death, would that be ethical? Based upon your observations of life on earth, do you sense a general fairness? A major theme in the Bible is that God demands perfect judgment. That is the direction I would take in showing God to be "ethical." Did you have something different in mind?

"If there is no judgment after death, would that be ethical?...A major theme in the Bible is that God demands perfect judgement"

A 'God' who assumes rank over 'his' creation through promising redemption to some and damnation to others is condemed of his own hand to remain static. If indeed 'God' assumes the manufacture of human beings then he too is tied to fires of his judgement. Does the Bible not say that God created all, the good and the evil?

So if God created all, no place can exist without his presense. If there is a place for the damned God must be present to preserve it,as nothing can be sustained or created without him according to the Bible. God must again rain on the good and the evil equally providing a place of dwelling for both the redeemed and the damned even in his afterlife dominion. This God, is certainly trapped between a rock and a hard place, don't you think?
